Turkish man is not Missing Greek Cypriot


DNA test results do not support the theory of a Turkish citizen who made headlines when he said he might actually be Greek Cypriot taken to Turkey as a child in 1974.

The Foreign Ministry in Cyprus issued a press release on Monday, saying that government authorities had obtained genetic material from the man in order to test it against the DNA bank of Greek Cypriot relatives of missing persons.
