Turkey’s EU progress report points Cyprus obligations


The latest progress report on Turkey’s EU accession process does point out the need for Ankara to implement Cyprus-related agreement protocol obligations, government spokesman Nicos Christodoulides said on Tuesday.

And he also welcomed the report’s call on Turkey to avoid any kind of threat or action directed against a Member State since this was in regard to Ankara’s disrespect of Cyprus’ Exclusive Economic Zone.
