The new Turkish Cypriot coalition will support the Cyprus settlement talks according to its new chief Hüseyin Özgürgün following the signature of a coalition agreement between the National Unity Party (UBP) and Democratic Party (DP) on Saturday.

Contrary to speculations, the new coalition will support the ongoing negotiations, Ozgurgun was reported as saying.

The new team will start work on Monday.
