About 1000 people, Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot, are still missing and their fate remains under investigation by the Committee on Missing Persons in Cyprus.

This is what the Committee’s Greek Cypriot Member Nestoras Nestoros said on Tuesday in response to reports in the Turkish Cypriot press that the number of remaining cases is only 888.
