Speaking to press after the meeting Akıncı said during their meeting he had requested that EU furthers its relations with the Turkish Cypriot community in order to support the adaptation process after the solution. Akıncı said he also demanded from Juncker that solution that will be reached to become EU’s primary so that it cannot be overruled by EU courts.
