Tsipras met with Davutoglu and underlined Greece’s support to solution

The Prime Ministers of Greece, Alexis Tsipras, and Turkey, Ahmet Davutoglu, agreed to upgrade Greek-Turkish collaboration on the refugees issue, during a meeting they held on the sidelines of the annual United Nations General Assembly meetings in New York, early on Wednesday morning.
According to an official announcement, Tsipras underlined Greece’s support to a just and viable solution on the Cyprus issue, based on United Nations resolutions, and called on Turkey to support talks in this direction, especially given the growing impetus on Cyprus towards a solution.
