Talat says No in referendum by T/c’s will deepen isolations in the north

CTP party leader Mehmet Ali Talat has said that the solution of the Cyprus issue was of vital importance to the TRNC public and in the event a No vote comes out of the referendum by the TCs, they will be pushed into a deeper isolation.

Underlining that the No vote of the TCs was not on the same par as the No vote of the GCs, Talat said no one other than Turkey recognised the TRNC and TCs were left out of international law.

CTP leader was speaking at a briefing of the Guzelyurt regional party members and public yesterday evening. Party GS Tufan Erhurman was also present at the meeting.
