Pavlopoulos describes Greece’s red lines for Cyprus issue

President of the Hellenic Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos stressed that a solution of the Cyprus problem must include the withdrawal of Turkish troops and illegal settlers as well as the guarantee of the European acquis communautaire.

The Greek President, who received today a delegation of the board of the Pancyprian Association of Reserve Commandos, described as unacceptable the continuation of the status quo in Cyprus since 1974.

    Pavlopolous should not meddle into the internal affairs of the Cyprus settlement process and simply mind his own matters . He is acting like a Xrysi Augi spokesman instead of a politician.
