Opposition Akel leader Andros Kyprianou hopes to have a “clearer picture” on the state of play of the UN-brokered Cyprus peace talks after his visit to Turkey next week.
“I can’t pre-judge the outcome of the visit, I’m not going to say big words, at least we will have a clearer picture (on the reunification process),” Kyprianou told the Cyprus Weekly in an interview.
“I’m meeting President Anastasiades to coordinate action. I’m not going to act as a negotiator and what is certain is that Akel are not going there to undermine the President,” he added.
