Greek Cypriot refugees have been told to vacate buildings belonging to a Turkish Cypriot in the Larnaca Turkish Cypriot quarter.
Following a victory court case for the Turkish Cypriot owners, one hairdressing salon, two homes, one plot and three other buildings have to be vacated by the present tenants. The Larnaca District Office has asked the present tenants to empty them. PHILELEFTEROS newspaper reporting the news said the TC owner has not been told as to when the properties will be vacated.
Meanwhile the paper reporting on property notes that GC refugees will allotted 112 plots of land by the year 2017. GC Interior Minister Socrates Hasikos yesterday briefed the House of Representatives on the issue.
