Cyprus reunification: leaders leave Switzerland without deal

Talks between rival leaders on ending Cyprus’s 42-year-old division have once again ended without agreement, the United Nations has announced.

The Greek Cypriot leader Nicos Anastasiades and his Turkish Cypriot counterpart Mustafa Akinci met on the shores of Lake Geneva since Sunday in the second round of talks this month. The UN announced on Tuesday that the talks had broken up.
